School Day
Join us for School Day at the Two Rivers Renaissance Faire.
BE IMMERSED IN 16TH-CENTURY EUROPE…
The Two Rivers Renaissance Faire invites public, private, charter, and homeschool educators and students to join us for our annual School Day: Honor Bound – Code of Chivalry, taking place Friday, February 5, 2027.
As students pass through the gates, they will step into the sights, sounds, and stories of 16th-century Europe, where the neighboring realms of Scotland and England come to life.
This year’s educational theme explores honor, courage, loyalty, courtesy, service, and the Code of Chivalry. Through living history, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and live performances, students will discover the culture, customs, trades, and everyday life of the Renaissance.
Throughout the village, students will encounter costumed characters representing royal courts, villages, guilds, craftspeople, soldiers, and entertainers of the era. Knights, musicians, jesters, historical interpreters, and other performers help bring Renaissance history out of the classroom and into an immersive experience.
Using interactive Quest Stops, students may take part in the Honor Bound Quest, exploring the Faire while completing educational challenges and learning about life in the 16th century.
Artisans in period dress will demonstrate traditional trades and skills such as blacksmithing, leatherworking, pottery, armor making, and more.
Students may also have the opportunity to visit the court of Mary, Queen of Scots, earn the honor of knighthood, interact with the pirates of Clan Darksail during demonstrations of historic weapons and gunpowder, visit Renaissance encampments, watch combat demonstrations, and test their skills at the archery range.
Prepare for a day of discovery as history unfolds through story, experience, and hands-on learning at the Two Rivers Renaissance Faire.
