What is a Renaissance Faire?

If you’ve never experienced a Renaissance Faire, prepare to step into another time! A Renaissance Faire is an immersive festival filled with stage and street performers, costumed characters, music, merrymaking, living history, shopping, food, and plenty of unexpected adventures along the way.

Throughout the Village and upon our stages, you’ll discover three days of entertainment featuring musicians, dancers, performers, roving characters, demonstrations, and more.

Our Renaissance Guilds help bring the shire to life through historical demonstrations, encampments, and interactive experiences. Wander through our bustling marketplace filled with unique artisans and merchants, watch craftsmen at work, enjoy delicious food and drink, and become part of the story yourself.

Whether you arrive in costume or simply come ready for adventure, there is something for everyone at the Two Rivers Renaissance Faire!

Fair Entrance: Please enter the Fairgrounds from S Avenue 2 1/2 E and follow event signage for parking and admission.

HOW MUCH IS ADMISSION?

Admission Prices

  • Adults: $15

  • Military & First Responders: $10 with valid ID

  • Children Ages 5–12: $5

  • Children 4 & Under: Free

🎟️ Your admission pass is valid for the entire weekend!

Come for one day or return all three days for one low admission price.

Tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the Faire entrance.

Gate admission accepts cash and card. Credit card transactions are subject to a $1 per-ticket processing fee.

If you purchase tickets online, simply have your digital ticket or confirmation ready at the entrance. You will receive a wristband that allows you to return throughout the weekend.

WHAT DOES MY ADMISSION INCLUDE?

Your admission includes:

  • Stage shows and entertainment throughout the Faire

  • Jousting and scheduled performances

  • Living history and Renaissance Guild demonstrations

  • Roving entertainment and village characters

  • Numerous family-friendly activities and experiences

Food, beverages, games, merchandise, artisan goods, and certain specialty activities are available for an additional charge.

Please note: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

If the Faire is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled event date.

If the event is canceled and not rescheduled, ticket holders will receive a refund within 60 days.

HOW DOES RE-ENTRY WORK?

Your Faire wristband is your pass for the weekend.

Wristbands must remain securely on your wrist for same-day re-entry and return visits throughout the weekend. Removed, damaged, or transferred wristbands are not valid for re-entry.

ARE CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED?

Yes. Credit and debit cards are accepted for admission with a $1 per-ticket processing fee.

Many of our vendors also accept cards, but individual merchants determine their own payment methods. We recommend bringing some cash as well.

IS THERE AN ATM?

Yes. An ATM is available inside the Faire grounds near the pub area.

ARE COSTUMES REQUIRED?

Not at all—but they are highly encouraged!

Guests are welcome to attend in everyday clothing, Renaissance attire, medieval clothing, fantasy costumes, or anything else that helps you join in the fun.

Please dress comfortably for the weather and remember that proper attire, including shirts and shoes, is required at all times.

ARE COSTUME WEAPONS ALLOWED?

Costume weapons may be permitted but must be peace-tied, meaning they are securely fastened so they cannot be drawn or used.

  • Swords, daggers, and similar costume weapons must remain secured.

  • Bows must be unstrung or strung using non-functional material.

  • Arrows must remain secured together and inside a quiver.

  • Firearms of any kind, including costume or replica firearms, are not permitted.

Faire management and security reserve the right to inspect costume weapons and prohibit any item considered unsafe or inappropriate.

IS THERE A CODE OF CONDUCT?

There certainly is—and in the spirit of this year's Code of Chivalry, we ask all who enter our gates to treat one another with courtesy and respect.

The Two Rivers Renaissance Faire is a family-friendly event, and we strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Unsafe, threatening, excessively disruptive, offensive, or illegal behavior will not be tolerated. Guests who interfere with the safety or enjoyment of others may be asked to leave the Faire without refund.

Be merry, be kind, and remember: Chivalry begins with thee!

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Faire grounds.

Exceptions may be made for:

  • Infant formula and baby food

  • Medically necessary food or beverages

A variety of food and beverage vendors will be available throughout the Faire.

ARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AVAILABLE?

Yes. Beer and wine are available for purchase during the Faire.

Alcohol service hours are:

  • Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Valid government-issued identification is required for alcohol purchases.

Alcohol may not be carried outside of the designated Faire grounds. Faire staff, bartenders, and security reserve the right to refuse alcohol service when necessary.

Please drink responsibly.

IS THE FAIRE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Wheelchairs and motorized mobility devices are welcome, and accessible parking is available at the Yuma County Fairgrounds.

Please keep in mind that portions of the Faire take place outdoors and some terrain may be uneven depending on weather and ground conditions.

ARE PETS ALLOWED AT THE FAIRE?

Pets are not permitted inside the Faire.

Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED?

Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in shops, the arena, near stages, audience areas, food areas, and other designated non-smoking portions of the Faire.

ARE CELL PHONES ALLOWED?

Of course! We love seeing guests capture memories from their day at the Faire.

We simply ask that phones be silenced during performances and that guests remain courteous to performers and those around them.

Please avoid blocking aisles, walkways, or another guest's view while taking photos or videos.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEO?

Absolutely! Personal photography and video are encouraged throughout most of the Faire.

Please be respectful of performers, merchants, and fellow guests. Some performers or vendors may request that photography or recording be limited during certain performances or inside their booths.

Commercial or professional photography may require prior approval from Faire management.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The Two Rivers Renaissance Faire is a rain-or-shine event.

Because much of the Faire takes place outdoors, we recommend checking the forecast and dressing appropriately for the day's weather.

In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, schedule changes or other updates will be posted through our official Faire communication channels.

IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?

Yes.

Lost and Found is located at the Ticket Booth near the Front Gate.

Lost children will be escorted to this area. If you become separated from a child or need assistance locating an item, please notify Faire Staff or Security immediately.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE DAILY ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE?

The entertainment schedule will be available closer to the Faire and will include stage performances, jousting times, demonstrations, special activities, and more.

Schedules are subject to change, so we recommend checking the most current schedule when you arrive at the Faire.

CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK ANOTHER DAY?

Yes! That's one of the best parts of your Two Rivers admission.

As long as your weekend wristband remains intact and on your wrist, you may return during Faire operating hours throughout the weekend.

Come Friday, return for Saturday's festivities, and join us once more on Sunday!
