Frequently hath asked questions…
What is a Renaissance Faire?
If you’ve never experienced a Renaissance Faire, it is a festival filled with stage and street performers in period costumes, bringing history to life in a fun and dramatic way! In the Village and on the Stages, you’ll discover three days of feasting, merrymaking, music, and laughter—with jugglers, musicians, belly dancers, a fencing school, and a myriad of roving village characters and minstrels.
Renaissance Guilds will interact with guests and populate the shire with living history demonstrations and encampments. You’ll also find a bustling marketplace with arts and crafts, artisan demonstrations (many hands-on!), and plenty of delicious food and drink to enjoy while you make merry!
